Description
The bags, Mochilas, from this series are made by dynamic, headstrong, young Wayuu women, who want to take a different path and do not want to use traditional designs. The images on these bags are inspired by their environment and experience. These bags are lined and have a pocket with a zipper on the inside. Very unusual for the traditional Mochilas. They are still quite large bags, which can be carried both by hand and over the shoulder. The Mochilas are knotted with acrylic thread and are therefore water and colorfast.
