Roll out the hammock behind you as much as possible, as the hammock is very wide and if you don’t roll it out nicely to the back, you will be sitting on most of it and no lying surface will be created.
Stand with your back to the hammock and hold the hammock against the inside of your knee with one hand and roll the hammock out behind you with the other hand. Then lie down in it calmly. Do not walk backwards at the same time, because then the hammock will swing when you lie down in it.
Be careful, if you get caught in the net with a knot or piece of jewelry, do not give a sudden jerk, as this could break a thread.
A mexico hammock is really a personal possession, which you do not lend to others. Make sure that the ends do not get tangled, because the many threads can make it difficult to take apart. Pay attention to that! Hang it up yourself and take it down from the suspension point yourself. You know how to handle it.
